Smokie
Smokie, the British band probably best known for the ultimate pub anthem “Living next door to Alice”, will perform on Tuesday, 5 April at the Grand West Arena in Cape Town.
Other Smokie classics include “If you think you know how to love me”, “I'll meet you at midnight”, “Don't play your rock 'n roll to me” and the melancholic “Run To Me”. Their Cape Town gig will form part of a world tour to promote their new original album, “On the wire”.
The band consists of Mike Craft on lead vocals and guitar, Terry Uttley on backing vocals and bass, Mick McConnell on backing vocals and lead guitar, Martin Bullard on keyboards and Steve Pinnell on drums and percussion.
