Red Data: Lisa Strachan & Nic Wells Bladen
Everard Read, Cape Town, is proud to present a joint exhibition of watercolours by Lisa Strachan and cast works in silver & bronze by Nic Wells Bladen.
All works in the show are based on red data, or endangered lists, of local flora and fauna. Strachan´s highly accurate paintings capture the details & colours of these living things, while Wells Bladen´s castings of organic forms retain each species´ individual beauty - a perfect formula to preserve what may not be here tomorrow.
