About Us

Events List was started in April 2010 by a group enthusiasts who created an independent listing of events, that spans a whole region giving the visitor a clear overview of what there is to do. We also give exposure to smaller, less publicised events.

In order to keep it manageable and as accurate as possible, we have limited ourselves to the Western Cape, therefore if you know of or are organising an event in Western Cape, as long as it is public we invite you to submit the event details to us.

Our long term plans are to cover the whole of South Africa, to that extent, we are looking for partners that would be interested in managing event details for other provinces. If you're interested, please contact Joris.

• Calendar X - http://plone.org/products/calendarx - To create the calendar, with it's views and categorisation. We did tweak it, but no major changes were made
